These masks are really fun to wear...
when  I wear mine, I always get a remark and lots of looks..
.and with the change in the season, when we will be wearing sweaters more.
These primitive, tribal type masks make great gifts for
those that like the unusual.
They are one of a kind and artist made.

We exchanged a watermelon
from them, for cigarettes and
petrol, which we siphoned from
our car, for their use in their
boat.

The house man had an ear lobe
that was probably 2 inches long,
and he probably wore a bone in
it when he went to his tribal
home when not at work.

During these years I lived in
Hawaii where the influence in
this type of art, prevailed.
Now I offer you the mask
necklaces  that I make
from polymer clay
I became interested in tribal / oceanic art after visiting a
friend that was working in Paupa New Guinea.  I was able
to see the fishing villages, met a "native family" as they
landed their boat on the beach where we went for a swim.
