3,008,0025 HEART BEATS
and
GOING STRONG!!!.
some beats were faster than others!!!
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY...MY VERY SPECIAL DAY
(as with everyone...a birthday is YOUR day..)

On this birthday I want to send a message to everyone on my email list...

YOU are there for a reason..

.you might be a life long friend that I have shared many UPS and a few DOWNS with, a Marine or
Sailor that I danced the night away with, someone that I spent 8 hours a day with at a job,  a former
or present neighbor that shared an abode,
or a person that stepped in and out of my life...
but not off my email list

I have  a little of YOU in my life, You are a part of Me
AND
for that, I'm thankful

ITS THE PEOPLE THAT COUNT...
THAT MAKE EVERYONE'S LIFE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
ITS OKAY TO BE A LITTLE EGOCENTRIC ON YOUR BIRTHDAY...
Ive earned it

BELOW IS A LIFETIME OF PHOTOS
PICK THE PLACE YOU ENTERED
My days in Hawaii
The day I left Hawaii, the first
time, leaving my job and
starting the second half
adventure,
Motor home trip
Living in N. Caroliana and Fla.
and back and forth to Hawaii
Spending special times with
Brother Bob ...
my dream to get old with Bob did
not work out...

he did not get old!!!
Life is good in Bakersfield
kind of a full circle...
I'm so very grateful for the life and
health that I enjoy...
sharing with son, Ken and friends ..

I hope I can blow out all those
candles before the fire truck
arrives...

THINGS i HATE

Now people ask, when they see
these pictures
"Did that use to be YOU?"
Think this could be my defining
PORTRAIT..

Life is a BEACH
especially at Kailua or Bellows Beach
Wonderful days of Motherhood
Ken and Carol
Don't know why I thought of this today...

On my 12th birthday, I entered the La Jolla Rough Water Swim, which in those years
was a 1 3/4 miles in the ocean, from Scripps pier to the La Jolla cove.

I belonged to Florence Chambers swim team...all litttle girls from 10 years on up ...
we swam a mile a day...for practice.

On this day I won a trophy for placing in my division, but the AAU rules were so strict
that they did not award me the cup and honors at the awards ceremony,
because my birth hour was after the race started...

As you can see, I did get the trophy later...

THINK THE LESSONS LEARNED WERE

Rules Stink
Rules can be changed
Better be happy within yourself for your accomplishments
You will get your rewards...eventually...perhaps not as expected.

MOSTLY
All things are Temporary...

PEOPLE MATTER MOST

NOW TO KEEP THE OLD TICKER GOING FOR ANOTHER FEW MILLION MORE BEATS

Thanks for the cards and messages

Aloha, Bow
